Quartz Templari lines, working ability, pretty package, and fairly healthy(VA Triumph's Gucci).  I also like Lasso Nuenberg,  though I don't think he was utilized enough in this country.
2 other male lines I like to see are Ulk v Arlett and Hill Farbenspiel.

as far as working lines, Troll vh Milinda, Ugo Burenswald (sp?) Falk Wolfen,  Nick Heil(sp? of name?) Yoschy Dollenweise there are others.

THANKS   DARYL:        FOR THE SP CORRECTION      i WAS NOT LOOKING AT MY PEDIGREES    JUST FROM MEMORY....LOL                    TOO MANY COPPERHEADS TODAY.

Greif z Lahntal    was bred to    Vroni v Busecker Schloss   who produced   Sagus and that is where my males ' bloodlines came thru.  on the bitch side  Dona Zur  Steinbock Burg..........And of course, we pick up from Vroni  out of Afra v Busecker Schloss ,  BERND VOM LIERBERG .

Put together with   Brix  zum Jorgenshof  out of ...  a breeding of  GREIF z Lahntal and  Imme von der Radsieksbeede out of Rocco v Busecker Schloss and Vari v Busecker Schloss...   very strong line produced my foundation male.

My foundation female was out of CADETTE  v BUSECKER SCHLOSS OUT OF  Half v  Busecker Schloss with Greif on the top and also on the bottom as Zanja Vom Busecker Schloss was producing dam of Cadette also out of Sagus with  Nora vom  groben Schluckspecht. ; Half and Sagus both being  Greif  sons.....

Tough working line of pups , extra healthy , and big boned

One of the all time great producers was GREIF zum LAHNTAL born 1973
his progeny go on through time to the present day
Present day Dogs here is one to take note of

COMO vom BONAUER WALD
  only THREE YEARS OLD now
First Selected  BELGIUM  for the forth coming WUSV championships in Germany later this year
Plus his Father was twice World Champion WUSV,  plus 4 times Belgian Champion
his G Father was World Champion WUSV
and that Dogs G.Father was World Champion WUSV
You cannot get better top working Qualities than than
PLUS COMO von BONAUER WALD is  bred back to the great GREIF zum LAHNTAL above
PLUS and a Bonus for me, he  is the Daddy of my ISABELLA van het BASJES HEUS or as we know her IZZY
Yes, i am a very happy fellow to own a pup from him, and every day she shows me that she has inherited her ancestors Drive and Capability to work she loves it

I'm also a fan of a well balanced dog.  And of Timo Berrekasten!  He's the reason why I bought my female.
I'm expecting my first litter of pups and I bred them with the focus of producing Universal Sieger type dogs.    IMO the Universal Siegers don't get as much attention as they should.  Breeding with dogs who have proven themselves stellar working dogs with excellent structure should be foremost I think.

The sire of my expectant litter is almost full brother to the NASS VA1 and Universal Sieger Bazi v. Urbecke, they share the same sire and maternal grandsire.  The dam is a grand-daughter of Timo Berrekasten and Whisky Bierstadter-Hof.

I would love to have a Zamp Thermodos girl and I love Liedo Kuckucksland in America too.

In my opinion Mexx von Aurelius is the real deal.  He is a dog that can work and is structurally and temperamentally sound. He was one of only 14 dogs given special recognition at the 2007 BSZS.

how far back do you think you can go in a pedigree and still expect to get some of the things you want example i love Zamp Thermodus to but if he is the great grndfather or great great can i expect to see him in the pup i understand there are alot of other things that are involved but for conversation sake how far is to far back

I do not know about any lines but the Busecker Schloss and Greif    and they carry foreward many generations... it is quite evident in them....
