I know two breeders: one not very successful in shows swear by raw, enzymes, etc, the other has raised numerous AKC Champions and do not feed raw.

I don't feed raw but I also do not believe it is necessary very risky, just a little risker, too much for me. Raw is an alternative.

Skip the cottage cheese if you feed kibbles, which has all the calcium that your pup will ever need.

A few articles state that, if a premium kibble is used, it is the total calories and correcr calcium content that matter the most, not excessively high protein content.  High quality and content for protein, moderate level of calcium, and measured amount of food for each meal to maintain desirable leanness are suggested. Never add any calcium in your puppy kibble food.
