Mud wick you do your persuasion no benit! It is obvious you are a ignorant as a rock by stating that the founders of our nation were not christian! Whle the founders wer draftin the documents Ben Franklin made a resolution that was adopted to before every meeting to pray and seek Gods guidence in completeing the constitution! That is a matter of historical fact! Yes our constitution is founded upon Judeo Christian beliefs! You are only following the dogma of radical homosexuals who wish to discredit our heritage in order to make your lifestyle acceptable! I was evidently incorrect to think you were a thinking individual! Now I laugh at your ignorance and lament it because you care not to learn the truth! Why not stick to dogs ? Because you are completely blind concerning our history and scripture!

That's not the US Contitution, now is it, Eagle?  Where does the United States Constitution say God, even once?

Benjamin Franklin's resolution to pray was rejected by majority vote- it was not adopted.
Franklin's account, in his own journal, of his suggestion was this:
The convention, except three or four persons, thought prayer unnecessary.
A newspaper erroneously reported that the motion had passed, and it has been repeated throughout history as truth.  In reality, letters between the delegates at the time, and Franklin's OWN journal, clearly state that it did not pass.

A few quotes from Thomas Jefferson, the DEIST:
"I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature."
.

"It has been fifty and sixty years since I read the Apocalypse, and then I considered it merely the ravings of a maniac."
.

"The truth is, that the greatest enemies of the doctrine of Jesus are those, calling themselves the expositors of them, who have perverted them to the structure of a system of fancy absolutely incomprehensible, and without any foundation in his genuine words. And the day will come, when the mystical generation [birth] of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as his father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation [birth] of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."
- to John Adams, Apr. 11, 1823
.

"They [preachers] dread the advance of science as witches do the approach of daylight and scowl on the fatal harbinger announcing the subversions of the duperies on which they live."

"It is not to be understood that I am with him (Jesus Christ) in all his doctrines. I am a Materialist; he takes the side of Spiritualism, he preaches the efficacy of repentance toward forgiveness of sin; I require a counterpoise of good works to redeem it." - to Carey, 1816
.

"The priests of the superstition, a bloodthirsty race, are as cruel and remorseless as the being whom they represented as the family God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob, and the local God of Israel. That Jesus did not mean to impose himself on mankind as the son of God, physically speaking, I have been convinced by the writings of men more learned than myself in that lore."
- to Story, Aug. 4, 1820

So, there's your Christian, for you.  A man who believed that Christ was NOT the son of God, who was NOT WITH Christ, who compared preachers with witches, that the "End Times" in Revelations were nothing but insane ravings, and that the story of Christ's virgin birth was a fable in line with Greek Mythology.
