Another epidosde with Pit Bull - Page 18

Stacy- we were typing at the same time. I lost a reply and didn't bother to retype it- it had to do with inbreeding.....dogs, not Duval. Anyway, yeah...inbreeding is hardly ever done, but occasionally, right? LMAO!!! Yep- just once in a great while someone will try something like that, but it's very, very rare, and you know, THOSE are the most aggressive ones. At least this most recent direction this thread has taken is HUMOROUS! All you can do is chuckle and shake your head.

But what bothers me is idiots like Duval are on the vocal side of the fence- people see him (don't know why I said him- just a gut- teenage brat, probably) defending Pits, and that's not exactly the kind of help the breed needs! That's what I was saying w/my "Pet Bull" comment...if the people who think they're helping but are NOT would just shut up, much of this problem would fix itself! I'm afraid it's too late though; look what happened to the Doberman after it's turn as the dog who would just "turn." Never did recover. :-( Hard pressed to find a good working Dobe these days.

In closing, I have two words:

Bulldog has been a common term for gamedogs for a very long time. Longer than I have been around. Shows what you really know, which became apparent pretty quickly anyway...
I prefer to use it over pit bull... Or is it PITT bull (LOL) Anyway I prefer to use that term, since "Pit Bull" to many folks is another word for "dog fighting." or "gangbanger."

I am still wondering what else you can tell me about these "not right in the head dogs" that you and your buddy use for hunting. Seems quite dangerous to me. Hog hunting alone is dangerous enough, nevermind with a dog that can't be trusted.
