Nuts, Most of the posts have had nothing to do with gsd people trashing shilohsg it has been just the opposite. The rest, the last few DOZEN has been simply telling you shiloh folks to Go preach your gospel in your own church. Maybe we should start behaving similarly on your shiloh forums, then you'd get it. GSD-folks: I propose that we simply ignore these trolls, so they can go back under there nickel-silver rocks.

If there was a kernel, a speck, a grain of truth to these claims there would be proof, (duh).

Sue, it is YOU who are refusing to recongnize the truth!

- the many picutures of dogs doing protection work on Tina's site.

-the Shiloh kennel ads from the 70's and 80's, promoting her protection trained dogs.

- her own statements from her book.

Here's another one. Tina was stricken with endometrial cancer, just before Homecoming in the early 80's. Her friends were afraid it might be her last Homecoming (the annual Shiloh Shepherd gathering and show.)

I had to go to Homecoming that year in a wheelchair, but it ended up bieng one of the best days of my life. Gary...and my son, Richard, got a hold of alot of people who had been important in my life and invited them to Homecoming. George Theriot, the man who started the National Schutzhund Association in America; Fred Lanting, my hip mentor; Gerhard Sieger, my Schutzhund mentor; Mary Bell Adelman, a great breeder and one of the foremost women in Schutzhund.

It was an extended family reunion...George Theriot personally awarded me the NASA medal of recogniton for most dedicated service to the Schutzhund sport. Gerhard brought the whole Schutzhund club down there and did a fantastic demo for everyone...

No doubt that medal George gave her was for NOT titleing her dogs in Schutzhund??  DUH!!!

Have you ANY idea how ridiculous you sound?

"I propose we simply ignore these trolls"

Couldnt resist the last word though could you??

I guess there will always be people out there who cant have a civilised intelligent discussion so will do the "I'm not speaking to you anymore but only after I've had one more dig"  routine - grow up!

Justcurious - that shot of Ajax is awesome & does show there are some great German Shepherds still out there.

I think Rediculous is getting info from a book and promotional ads that somebody has written about themselves to promote themselves.  Wasn't there a guy that just recently wrote a book about himself and his amazing SAR dog and 9-11 and all that stuff.  His name was Scott Shields and his dog Bear.  how truthful was that?

If somebody questions that I atually titled any of my dogs, I can show them my scorebook, I can show them the judges signature, I can link them to an official recored of the trial when, where, who was the judge and my scores.   What's so difficult?

Yep zdog, there's that pesky common sense stuff again.  Oh but Sunsilver says it's in a book written by one of her favorite people so for that Sunsilver will keep her head as far up Tinas ass as she can.  I guess that's why she can't see the forest for the trees.  Of course, the rest of us know that book is a fairytale work of fiction written to sell dogs to gullible newbies and fellow cultists.  L Ron Hubbard himself would be proud.

Zdog, if the last dog you titled was in the early 80's, before you got the BIg C, would you still have those scorebooks? Would you even care, when you knew someone wasn't going to believe a word you said?

Jeez. Enough of this crap!

Exactly.  And there are many, many more just like that out there.  So knowing that, now do you see why it irritates the heck out of GSD people to have Shiloh people (or any one) writing blather like all-German-Shepherds-today-are-crap-so-therefore-I-and-I-alone-have-created-the-true-German-Shepherd-Dog.

GSD people are breeding, training, loving, showing, selling, living with, as you say, "great German Shepherds."  So go  create a new breed if you want, but DON'T tell people you had to do it because the GSD breed isn't great.  It's fabulous.

Sunsilver...

Tina misrepresented the breed and herself,  in her motivations for Creating her breed, mainly-Money.  She markets well

She has done Nothing with this breed, nor have any owners but hyped a pretty oversize couch potato.  She has created a large, low drive, Fluffy , lap dog and used the GSD (While Bashing GSDs all along the way, at what it had become) to play  'Doctor Frankenstein'  with her Mal/GSD/ vision epiphany.

If she had dedicated herself towards Improving the GSD, or just perpetuating the Outstanding Working GSD lines, Id have alot more respect for her.

She, nor anyone else, has Ever titled a Shiloh.  I think we have established this fact.

Its a bit of a surprise really. Id think somewhere, with the hundreds/thousands of pups, maybe one might get a SchH 1 title....even do a 'midnight trial' to buy a title.

Did it ever occur to you, that Shiloh Shepherd fanciers aren't into Schutzhund ? SchH isn't the only important thing in the dogworld, you know ..........   The training methods in itself are barbaric and last century. I wouldn't do that to my dog.
