Dear Carlos,

Congratulation for your initiative!

You invitation criteria would never be perfect and really does not matter but I am missing the name of some world class sport dogs that I would like to reinforce like:

     Ängsbacken's Rosso – 1st in the WUSV 2007 and 2nd in the WUSV2007

Javir Tarka Marda – Universal Sieiger 2007 and 11st on the WUSV 2007

Jabina Query – 2nd in the WUSV 2005 amd 5th in the WUSV 2006

Jabina Nova – 6th (best female) in the WUSV 2006

Ozzy Barnero SchH3 - 7th in the world WUSV 2007 and  National champion Slovakia 2007

Basco ze Slovanskeho Domu - National Champion USA 2007

Erri z Blatenskeho zamku -  National champion Czech Republic 2007

And maybe the champion of many countries like Italy, Sweden, Mexico, Nederland and France should be in the list also.

Certainly you have already invited some of the above dogs that have not responded yet or refused the invitation.

I know how difficult is for a sport dog to meet any new schedule….

Good lucky to your Master Tornament event and to all the competitors.

Yes, Pierre Wahlström was invited but has recently sold his dog to Italy Unfortunately Rosso will not be there but if you had not noticed Pierre is 1 of our judges and his picture and bio is on the judges page.

Indeed congratulation for your initiative, Carlos! A brave new world expediently circumventing the SV and every other schutzhund organisation – yet simultaneously conveniently trading off their backs. An open invitation to every financially endowed Breeder and retired or disenchanted SV judge to also run their own self-promoting shows, and then only as subject to their privately-contrived, self-serving set of rules. Spread about enough cash and the punters will come running! (Dust off those electric collars folk!) Tailor-made for a largely gullible US market, one used to instant satisfaction in all things. If this sport is rife with corruption, self-promotion and hidden agendas now, one breathlessly awaits future developments! I’ll of course be able to bet on my favourites? But why stop at schutzhund? I shiningly envisage well-funded entrepeneurs from Colorado Springs to Oregon City blending this with with their own novel show versions of conformation, agility, sheep-herding and a variety of other enticing competitions – each spiced with own unique blend of showbiz and razzmatazz (dancing GSD’s, or a Celebrity Invitational with Brad Pit and Paris Hilton in attendance say - we’ll temporarily give each a GSD for the big day – is sure to be a winner!); and with petfood companies, schutzhund equipment suppliers and similar, eagerly contributing their loot. What need for member clubs, their silly regulations and codes of ethics … yet, from whence did you derive your GSD authoritative standing, Carlos?

Why such a  chip on the shoulder Pat?  For asking questions everyone is wanting to know?  I am keeping my end of this conversation civil and you take things to a juvenlie side.  I don't need to prove myself next to you or anyone else. I know what I have accomplished.

How about this, Pat?  How about you confine your "suggestions" to those that involve you and only you?

Karmen:

Have you ever heard the expression, "What would you expect from a pig but a grunt?"?  Consider the source.

It's the likes of that which makes asking questions and attempting to learn more about anything a real bitch.

As far as I'm concerned now I got my non-answer when Mr. Rojas responded to my post above.

In part by Mr. Rojas:

I have envited by Undisclosed criteria.  Some are entred and some cant come.

It may be the best that show.  It may be "the best" can't come.  Clear as mud now.

if Ivan, Charlie,  Wallace and Helmut and John Jabina are showing and the world champion is one of the judges then the best are there

and if Carlos doesn't want to answer he doesn't have to since it is a free country

Hi Carlos,  Thanks for putting together such an interesting event.  I look forward to attending this special event.  Its not often that you will get a chance to see so many schutzhund greats in one place at the same time, TRIALING against each other.

It appears you are taking some heat from the critics and morality police.  Please continue to handle with the class you have answered thus far.

If you are not a fan of this event, don't support it.  If you don't like the list of competitors, don't attend the event. If you have issue with competeing for prize money, don't read the thread.  We all do not get up in the morning thinking we need to please everyone all the time.  If you don't like who he has invited, get your own venue and write your own check for your own event.  Some of you really need to get over yourselves.  Like many threads on this board, the chicken littles have come out of the wood work and mucked things up.   Who are any of you to tell somone how and what someone else should do with something they are putting together? Get a grip, get over yourselves and get a life.

Don't flatter yourself, Pat.

What you "got" is one hell of a set of brass ones to make a "suggestion" such as you made.

What you "got" is no class.
