Let's make sure if we are going to talk about the past, we talk about the past the way it actually happened. People objected when this board was flooded with political and religious threads, which ultimately pushed the legitimate dog threads back a couple pages. Oli actually had to step in, and spoke loudly and clearly by deleting all of the political and religious threads. No one would have had a problem with one or two, here and there.
Oh and before you say the only reason Oli removed those threads was because so many of us complained let me remind you that YOU raymond, are proof positive that Oli does not remove anyone or anything just because everyone complains about it.

If I remember correctly some rather objectionable images were added to some of the threads that were removed.
And language had become rather vulgar.
Plus that was the abuse button experiment that failed miserably.

I am talking about the political threads and religious threads which got completely out of hand and flooded this board for a period of time mostly in 2008. There was no moderator, there were no "dirty pictures" and as far as blue language, if you do a search you will find many threads containing same that have not been yanked. The "hit abuse" button had not even been added. Oli added that after that business with MJD80 occured later in 2009. That's when Oli let us know that when he wants to, he can write a program so that whatever someone writes it goes "poof" as soon as they try to post it, which is how he toyed with MJD80 for a while.

Mudwick al I see is that beautifull dog in your avatar! I wish that more would be as noble as our four legged friends! I have not implied or insinuated anything but positive waves to you ! Just allow and support others differing opinions as been shown you! After all that is the american way is it not! Happy training you all!
