On our evening 'pack walk' around the property, Icon finds a little trench/ditch and thinks it's a great place from which to mount an 'attack' on Bear, lol. I only caught about 1/2 of the antics, as I had to pull my phone out of my pocket, lol.

How is Icon coming along?

He's awesome, Emory, thanks for asking. He knows: sitz; fuss; place; paw; other paw; down; stand (almost); such; find; sit pretty; come 'ere - also his 'engagement' is very nice. He has super concentration for a youngster, and his tracking is intense and correct. His food drive is great, and he has a real capacity for learning. He just started article indication yesterday, and is already learning to look intently at the article after only 2 short sessions. All in all, I am very pleased with what I see so far, especially with his ability to learn. Sent you a PM.

You’re doing a great job! I can see that little brain grow all the way from here! Though that puppy breath will soon disappear, the time and effort you’re putting in now will benefit him a lifetime. To paraphrase Skinner, you’re not just filling the pail, you’re lighting a fire.

Haha, thanks emoryg, he's certainly a little fireball for sure. Because he learns so easily and quickly, I feel that I can teach him all sorts of things and he just takes it all in.   I read somewhere that almost all their learning takes place in the first 4 months of life, so I am trying to utilize that time.   Here's a vid of his tracking @ 11 wks.
