Why do people think you will give a multi championed pup away for nothing.   And they argue with you saying its not worth nothing.  When you have the proof of the pedigree before you along with a letter from the registry saying the true value of the pups.

I been getting people who wants me to give my pups away when i was told be there value is 2,500.00 a pup and i'm selling way less then that.

Just so fed up, becasue people thinks i'm so stuip. i know what i have and the value.  I tell you guys people want something for nothing anymore.

sorry for ranting, i just had to get it out of me.

You can want all you want, but, market will dictate what customers pay for anything. I am not sure what papers you are talking about from a registry that tell you how much a dog is worth...The breeder will decide what price to ask, depending on many factors, market, value of what they bred, demand for it, etc.
Yes, there are indeed people who will want something for free, but, you can tell who they are within 2 minutes after the conversation starts and you are allowed to end it.

Thanks,  i was talking about i have american bulldog pups with multipul show and multipul iwpa gold medalist champions and famous dogs in there lines.  the arf told me thru an e-mail that  with both my dogs pedigree combined the pups are worth 2,500.00 a piece and i have the e-mails stateing the conversations on the pedigree's and the dogs in the lines.  plus i looked them up on here and i died when i saw the dogs in the pedigree.

and people call me a liar becasue some of the dogs are not listed on the registrey that i have have.   I even printed out the pedigree;'s on here for proof. and everyone who comes and looks at the pups wants me to give them for nothing since i know the people.  i'm even working with one pup for showing.

i tell you, people want the bulldog to breed and sell but they want it for free.  i'm so fed up with people wanting something good for nothing.

Your a lucky dog if you can get $2,500.00 for a bulldog puppy. Because i'm not that customer.  I'd never pay more then about $800 and even then thats a lot.
I do know peopel who work and train some very high quality dogs, who give their pups to people who will actually work and title them. Or hunt with them.

So what titles do your dogs hold?
What test do they have clearences on?
Whats the ped on these super expensive mutts?

More power to you if you can actually get your asking price!
But you better be backing up that super ped and wonderful pups with a rock solid garuntee and be ready to take one of your pups back at any time of any reason.
A hefty none refundable deposit may help weed out the idiots.

And i've never heard the ARF placing value on peds. Thats a new one on me and i have dogs registered through them.
Good luck

I certainly wouldn't pay $1000 for a puppy out of non-titled and non-championed parents.

I agree with Hired Dog. The market dictates in most cases what people are willing to pay along with of course titles you have on your own dogs and health clearances. I won't even consider a dog these days without health clearances. Been duped too many times. A pedigree of past dogs is only a reference to someone who knows how to read them and is looking for something in particular. To a pet home, a pedigree is pretty much usless. I'm not too familiar with the breed and what health problems are so can't ask what tests you have done.

I have a limit on pups. Even for a well bred dog, $2500 is over the limit for me. I would pay $1500 and thats for a nice bred shepherd from parents who have had hips/elbows done and some sort of title. (other than CGC that isn't a title to me)

Like most large breed the have problems with HD, ED, Itch, NCL, Heart and so on. Bare minium should be OFA or Penn hip and NCL clear. Because even though Itch really sucks for the dog, it' won't kill them directly or cause major pain. But the dog does suffer.
This breed also has a lot of deafness and cancer in it. So these things sould be watched for.
Working titles of some sort, conformation titles are nice. The should be able to do more then eat food and crap in the yard. This is a working breed.

I am getting 1500 a pup, 2500 with breeding rights... champion lines... (Can be traced to boyd's , johnsons, among others)
Demographics also plays a role. They go for less in the USA than where I am from
