any opinions... does he produce strong dogs??

by rock on 04 September 2005 - 02:09

YES VERY STRONG!!! THAT BLOOD IS VERY NICE!!!

by schodink9 on 04 September 2005 - 02:09

Very strong dog, superior genetics, will add to any breeding program. I know the breeder, he is a very inteligent person, and knows how to produce dogs. Orry is a dog I would recommend for a stud dog, if you want to add everything to a breeding program.

is he too strong? handler aggressive, is he socialable, stable. looking at a litter by him, but i want an on and off switch!!

by crocop on 04 September 2005 - 12:09

you want an off switch. chances are your not going to see that in a 8 week old pup.

Dawn, The foundation is set for you with this litter,The best way to look at it is the tripod effect. A tripod in it's own is very strong, can carry a lot of weight and is very stable. If one were to take away just one of it's legs or sets it up incorrecly on questionable ground this can changes the entire picture very quickly with terrible results. In the case of this pup,we all know she comes from good stuff, this is in yours/trainers favor Take away any of the legs and things will change, the handler will have an effect on the way the dog turns out,the helper/decoy will have an effect on how this dog turns out. The trainer you choose will have an impact on how the dog turns out Any one of the above mentioned things can make or break ANY dog, Ruining a perfectly good prospect is easier then one might think if you hook up with the wrong people. We have spoke before of people in your area that we both know, any of which would be a good choice for you and this pup. Not a reason I can think of why you should not snap this little girl up before she is sold,it sounds to me like it is as close as you can get to what you were looking for. The rest is up to you. Best of luck,I'm sure you will make the right choice. Charlie
