Anyone Know this Tattoo KEF7347 approximate 1 yr old male found in Miami. Trying to find owner or breeder before has to come into rescue.

its not an SV tattoo. SV is two letter, followed by a box with a diagonal line through it, followed by 4 numbers.

Check with Sch USA..........sometimes they may have info on other dogs with that "prefix"......and be able to contact the breeder.

Also check with WDA and I believe there is also a pet registry that the tattoo may be registered with. Do a web search.

Brittany as DH said this is not a SV or foriegn Tattoo #. We are trying to get a hold of SchH USA but hoping someone on the boards may have heard of or seen a breeder using these numbers. I know all mine start with GM and letter of the litter so??
Will check with the WDA registry but really a new system.

Okay.... I'll make some phone calls tonight to see if anybody lost a male who happens to have a tattoo ( In the ear, i hope)

Could be the person's initials and last 4 of their social security number. I've heard of people using that to tattoo their dogs with. Why, I'm not sure. I was just thinking that could be it.

Just tried to look up initials K.E.F. in Miami. There is one listed in InteliUS--some 28 year old. If someone's willing to pay the fee, you can get the name address, and phone number, and perhaps you will have a success story to tell us. I wanted to give this info as well. Good luck!
