is it just me or does the pup in this photo look really off proportioned, even for a puppy.  something about the short legs.

does look really strange.  I saw a pup at a trial recently, at first glance looked like a big-boned sable working line pup, big ears, head and bones - then he turned and  his structure was more like a Corgi.  The owners apparently didn't realize anything was strange, they bragged about it's bloodlines and sire and the breeder they got it from.  Just got two raised eyebrows from me - they didn't have a clue.

Looks like the photos were taken looking down at the pup so it would make the legs look shorter, but Charlotte certainly looks like she has very short legs.

I have never seen such short legs on a pup, lovely expression she has too, polar opposite of our female pup .. she's all legs!!!

seriously though is a puppy having such short legs within normal ranges.. ?

(no offence to pups breeder meant etc I am just genuinelly interested )

OK, NOW DON'T JUMP ON ME FOR CAPITALS. I WORKED ALL NIGHT AND SPENT THE HOLIDAY WORKING A CODE. (CARDIAC ARREST) SO, TIRED AND EYES BLURRAY.

we see a true genetic dwarf golden retriever (was tested at U of P) and that dog's legs look very very similiar. 

I thought it was the angle of the shot too but, after seeing the frontal view, I would say this pup has extremely short legs. 

That puppy looks like it's a dwarf,

something is just not right about him,
at first I thought it was the photo, but

 in all the pictures the pup looks to
be very disportionate
