I dont buy it Medonte. How could a "responsible" breeder let a kid make their website and never check on it?

How would this kid even fathom your female was being bred to "prince"? Im sure this site was at the very least, made with your input.

Brittany, the word you are searching for is REVEAL.  not revile.  Derrrr... (Harvard professor training)

Medonte,

If I was your friends web design teacher, I'd give her an A+ :) She did a great job :)

Funk man,

What's wrong with allowing a kid design a website for a small hobby breeder? Does every “responsible” breeder have to have a professionally designed website that often slows up 56k modems with crap graphics that nobody even cares about? Do you have something against it? People make mistakes on their websites, hell I even find mistakes on well known websites like NBC, get over it already.

Yes Brittany, a "responsible" breeder would be sure that ACCURATE information is on their site. The occassional typo is one thing but, information that shows you are cross breeding dos is a whole other story. I know that someone of your educational caliber can find it hard to beleive but, yes, when there are numerous spelling and grammar errors on a website, it shows the lack of education of the "owner" of the site. Most people would never buy a dog from someone who cant even spell basic words. That shows a clear lack of basic education. How can you trust what someone is selling you or telling you if they cant even spell? Now I agree that bad spelling doesnt mean someone is not a responsible breeder however, someone who doesnt care if they are displaying incorrect information and falsely advertising is definately only appealing to similar minded, uneducated monkeys. I know you can relate because both of your websites are complete trainwrecks. Not one level headed person would consider doing business with you or anyone that advertises on your site because it is so unprofessional. Would you go to a doctor who couldnt spell? Nevermind, Ill bet you would.

Funkman,

Not that I have to justify myself to you, but I am a very busy person. I work like most people, take are of my sick husband. It is also the Christmas season where everyone is busy.

Clearly you do not have the mental knowledge to understand this. She is young and she tried, It didn't cross my mind to review her work asap. Eventually sure, but the site had only been up for a few days. Clearly you have too much time on your hands.

I could care less if you believe me or not.  I enjoy giving people opportunities, my brother never gets them (down syndrome) and so when I have a chance to give anyone a chance I am open to it. All that matters to me is that I have my dogs I love them and they are happy. I can promise you I will not have a hard time finding the right homes for my litters.

P.S For the record she got 82% on the site!!

Funkman, you are absolutely right.  If someone can design a website they sure as hell can use a spell check!  No excuses for the site builder or the 'breeder'....

I am sorry and where are your websites?

Hey Funkman, LOL  Hmmm, this is one of your sentences I copied and pasted!

"The occassional typo is one thing but, information that shows you are cross breeding dos is a whole other story".

Does dos mean dog by any chance???? LOL.  Just thought I'd ask.

AND if you would have looked, after I emailed the person who posted the ad to check into if there was a mistake or not about the cross breeding, it was corrected IMMEDIATELY on her part!!!!!   She didn't do it on purpose!

by Saint Funkman on 28 November 2007 - 01:11

lol, see the quote you posted.

by autobahn on 28 November 2007 - 02:11

You know, anyone can say they made a mistake and then change a site around to make something look like it was corrected, while still having the intent to carry on with their original idea. I might not have anything against crossing dogs in the hopes of producing some high drive police or sport dogs, but does it look like this breeder actually has any goals in mind?

Proudshepherdpoppa, that was so mean! I'm sure Prince is a very pertective dog... he's also working on his "tittles".. I wonder if they will produce milk when they're done :) I'm hoping they don't breed him, he seems like a sweetie-pie of a dog, but he's practically sitting on his hocks! Well, such is life in the dog industry, I suppose.
