Poop eater - Page 1

I had a dog that ate his own poop and the poop of my other dog.  I nearly fainted the first time I saw it happen.  I knew dogs would do that sometimes but MY dog?  My very expensive Yorkie?  (smile)  I used "Potty Mouth", "Forbid" and one other medication and training and I could not get the dog to stop eating it.  I would scoop up the poop if I could get to it before the dog gobbled it up.  I read somewhere that a dog that only eats his own poo is easier to stop than a dog who eats other dogs poo.  Any one had any experience with stopping this behavior?  Why do dogs do that?  No one really knows the answer??!!??  It is very upsetting and yucky!
