Hi there, just wanted to get opinions on my 5 month old puppy. I didnt put him under the showing category since he is of working lines and doesnt conform to what the show people think is acceptable. He is my first puppy and I wanted to hear what people think of his structure at this age. Do you think his coat color will darken much more? When he was born he was extremely dark but is now lightening up. Any critiques, good and bad are welcome, just looking for honesty!

He will continue to darken up till about a year old. Very hansome pup!

Sables usually end up much the same colour as when they started
out, so if he was dark when very young his final adult coat will also
probably be dark.

Sables change like crazy up until they are a couple years old, then they stay about the same. They also wind up at about the color they were born. He is going to be one gorgeous dog!
