ICLEI is the US's version of  implementation.

They did not bring it in through a legal manner that would have required representative constitutional approval.

They pick small pieces and implement them on a local level because it's easier to divide and conquer.
By the time the unconstitutional stuff gets resolved through the courts - on a state by state basis..... more damage will be done that can't be undone.

Certain cities have fought against it and won - others did not win.(yet)

I don't like it, not one bit.  I hope it is a loooong time getting to Canada.  Dang if I am going to give my house back to the Gov't after working hard to get it paid off.

All sensible ideas that involve common sense initiatives to support a world that does not devolve are met with incredible suspicion. I wonder what the source of that suspicion could be?
