gouda

Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:(Proverbs 1:20-29)

Arghhhh. Hi Gouda. Nice night where you are?

by triodegirl on 26 January 2012 - 00:01

Beetree, did you read the scripture? I did, but I'm not sure why. I rarely open gouda threads as I disagree with his methods and I don't feel the need to defend or debate my religous beliefs on the 'net. I must be in a good mood today.  lol

I've got some stuffed porkchops in the oven if you're interested.

Sorry, I did not. Pretty much seen it before. Nothing wrong with being sociable though. Just wondered if the night sky was looking clear and twinkly up in the Northern woods. Thanks for the offer of pork chops, but we just finished up some nice pork medallions with mushrooms and onions, ourselves! Funny how for dinner, we both went for "the other white meat".

LOL Think I'll be getting ready to watch some American Idol, though, it sure was nice to see you again, it has been awhile since we last shared a rock to crawl under for some munchies.

According to Jesus the storm thats coming will panic the wicked, driving them to despair.  He foresaw mens hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Yet the godly will not be driven to despair. Theyre going to face the same violent winds of calamity, the same awful times, but they,ll prosper in spirit.Through it all, they,ll be doing good works, spiritual prospering and overcoming, even in the worst of times. This is Gods measure of prosperity, although it isnt the kind thats regonized or sought by the world.  It doesnt consist of wealth, possessions or hoarding assets.  Instead,it includes peace, comfort and provision and the absents of fear and terror when the world begins to shake.

Two Moons

Welcome back gouda,
I was beginning to think you'd given up.
Jesus didn't happen to mention when this shaking of the Earth will take place did he?
Will this be a little shaking or one great big shake?
I'm only curious if you had any inside information you'd like to share.
Plus I somehow cannot resist your threads it seems.
Anyway, welcome back.

Moons.

Somedays I'd like to give the earth a good shake and hopefully a few of the assholes would fall off.

Mark 13: 32

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Unless we die in a plane crash or some other such event as a natural disaster, the end of the world (as we know it) will come at a different time for all of us. At least in my opinion :)  Being a transplant recepient, I have a very differnt prospective now on life and death that even I don't completely understand. I use to share some of the stories but got tired of the strange reactions so just keep them to myself now. And quite frankly, most people don't care.  I'll just let people think I'm a nut job  lol

My reply---A person would have to be totally blind not to see the chastening thats coming upon  America and the world. The world is finnally acknowledging we are headed for a widespread economic holocaust.

Jesus said   For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time,no nor ever shall be.

Moons, thankyou for your welcome back.

The Lord I believe now wants me to talk about this last generation before his return.
I will discuss why I believe this is the last generation.
