BRADY BEE

I'm curious if anyone has had their vaccination and /or what the views on it are. I get mine on March 18th. It will either be the Pfzier-BioNTech or Oxford-AstraZeneca . I'm looking forward to it, as I feel it's a small step in the right direction. There's been a good uptake here although some are still reluctant. Any views?

I've had Oxford/AZ 1st dose a week ago, booked to have 2nd mid-May. Although I got the leaflet warning what side effects I might experience, I haven't had any. :-)
My arm at the site of injection was a little tender to the touch on days 2 & 3 but has been ok since. No throbbing, no pain; no 'flu-ey aches 'n' pains, or other symptoms, either. Obviously cannot say that will be so for everybody, but I do think it's better to have the vaccine than not have it, not just for one's own reduced risks of Covid but for that of other people too.

I know half a dozen people who've had the vaccine and they all say the same as you Linda. Sore/heavy arm for a few days . Small price to pay if it helps to get us out of this nightmare.

Absolutely.

Many of my friends in the U.S. have gotten the Pfizer vaccine. Several experienced severe migraine type headaches, but most just had a sore arm, along with fatigue, slight fever and flu-ish aches and pains. A few had very little reaction at all.

Canada is WAY behind the States in distributing the vaccine. Although I'm in the high risk group, I have no idea when I'll be able to get inoculated. It could be as late as early summer. :(

What's the hold up in Canada Sunsilver? Is it a supply issue ?

Had my first jab of Oxford-AstraZeneca but no clue when the 2nd will be given, absolutely no side effects.

I'm just grateful to be getting my first dose so soon. I'm 60 with no underlying health issues so I wasn't really expecting mine for a while yet. The roll out and uptake of the vaccine has been better than expected. At least the Government have got one thing right !

Does look like the younger generation are a bit sceptical, really need everyone or at least the majority, to take it up when offered.

Just wait untill the Government introduce vaccine passports. The young ones will be fighting to get the vaccine 😂😂
