What about the pup from Eichenluft and the training that was going into that pup....how will you balance this? She is a pretty dog based on the pics.

Xeph, Good Luck with your girl.  I really like her mom.  You should lots of fun with your girl.  Keep us posted.

OH RIK, I have to agree with you on that upper arm..  He is a gorgeous dog to look at, but that is about as far as it goes for me.   I see that was the Fort Myers Specialty Show.   Unless this dog can over come the short upper arm and can move, If this dog was the best there, going only by this picture, you have to wonder what the rest of the dogs were like.   Sadly enough, its not always the dog that is judged, but the owner, breeder, and handler.  I've seen it to often, the best dog doesn't win because it isn't owned by a notable owner, breeder, or professional handler.  I am not saying that is the case with this male, but it does happen...

The sire is finished, so he was good enough for that.  I've not seen him in person.  He's down south, and I'm up here in PA.

We are managing just fine.  The sable puppy most certainly isn't show quality, and I like to show dogs, so I have this American girl to exhibit.  Mahler is meant to be a service dog, and it will be a long time before we even know if he's really suited for the work.

What beautiful dogs!! They look so healthy and sleek. My girl has EPI and keeping her weight up is a chore. I always worry about a setback and if I am doing everything right to keep her well.  You are truly blessed to have such gorgeous animals. Have fun with the puppy.
