yes, i have been watching this play out for a few days now on the local news. i think he is getting off easy if you ask me.

He is a SICKO who should not be a Fireman -- needs to be fired immediately. He is getting a slap on the wrist.

The only thing more disgusting than the crime is the punishment...what a disgrace. When will the judicial system figure out that if someone who could do this and obviously enjoy it then brag about it is a danger to society? I don't care what the law says now...it needs to be changed if the judge was limited on what penalty he could impose. If the judge was being soft he should be punished. Both he and the jerk should lose their jobs. What a sick, sick bastard!!!

Kudos to his fellow firemen for "outing" him. He's a disgrace to them.

The really scary thing is he shot them 11 times! Not once but over and over. That should tell his boss that he is not mentally stable and should be fired. I think there will be enough public out rage that they will have no choice but to fire him, or at the very least desk duty as i'm sure his fellow firefighters will not want to work with him.

That's just cheap, man...
There's no boarding expenses if a friend watches your animals while you're gone on a trip. To do what he did, there was something more going on than a trip.
No one, and I mean NO ONE, shoots two dogs 11 times to kill them.
Sounds like rage to me, no excuse at all. All I can say is I'm glad his kids weren't there...They might have been next from the sounds of things.
