I’m looking for a good (and dog friendly) method for water proofing my dumbbells. They inevitably end up getting rained on, if not in training – sometimes one gets forgotten outside. Mine (from moisture) are now cracked and pretty ugly looking. Not to mention they deteriorate much quicker when they are unprotected.
I'd like to refurbish mine, fill the cracks, sand and water proof. My only concern is that I don’t want to use something that is harmful or poisonous to the dogs for any of this. Any suggestions?
