Most breeders should be made aware that this drug is from the same company that brought us phthalidamide in the 1960's. They have no data on safety in pregnant and lactation bitches, nor puppies under 14 weeks of age. This should cause anyone some concern

Should I be wrried? I used last week on 4 of my adults. It worked great and they did not have any side effects. I live in fl and the fleas are bad here. grontline is just not working on them. I did give my 12 week old pup capstar. I am so confused about flea products

I have used it when the fleas were not effected by Advantix or Advantage. Never had success with Frontline here in Florida. While my dogs did not have any side effects, I only used it when needed, definitely not as a regular prevention plan. Last year, the late summer and fall were really bad for fleas. Since then I've kept the fleas under control with the topicals.
