high drive isn't the same as willing worker.
some dogs are born with a natural willingness to please. some are not. the ones who don't care if they please you or not are the shitheads.
you can have both a high drive dog and it be a little shit, and you can also have a low drive one whose a shit.
its the willingness to please that makes them a joy to work with, and unfortunately alot of that has been bred out of some lines.

I agree with you, RPK, I think in general, high drive dogs are very willing workers, they need to work. Shitheads are dogs that regularly flip us the doggie finger, or worse, have the nerve to laugh in our faces.

I have noticed people saying a dog that has high drives when it has out-of-control aggression, and they just want to get rid of an unsafe dog that they can no longer control. This is beyond "shit head".
A dog that is a shit head is one that has an attitude and may be competing with you for alpha position. If you are firm with him (or her), you can deal with it. This is a whole different animal.
