I had a registered Galiceno, the horse Cortez and his men brought with them, the forerunner of the present Mustang. He was one of the best, most majestic friends I had. When he died suddenly, I was devestated. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. You Malachi is beautiful.

That is so sad! He was a handsome colt! Sending prayers to help them thru this very tough time.
Back in 96 when I was farm manager of an arabian breeding farm we had a 5 month old filly break her leg when she was out in one of our paddocks. The owner,myself and our vet searched the whole entire paddock but could not find anything that she could have tripped on to fall that would have broken her leg. She, of course, had to be euthanized. That was one of the very sadest moments Ive ever had and I dont wish that on anyone.
We lost 3 of our 6 foals that were born that year from various things. A very bad year! After all these years I still feel the loss of those foals.
Sorry to ramble on. This brought back some sad memories.
