last minute packing - Page 1

I bought 10 lbs of forzen leg quarters and 4 frozen whole fryers, a small portion of beef heart, kidney and liver........2 sacks of beef hooves for treats and a sack of their regular feed and a dozen cans of Science Diet AD and some pepto ismal  just in case............

I'll try to change the pack over to raw, they have 82 acres to puke and poop for a whole week..........If this doesn't work I will not try again.

Have a doggie first aid kit, and extra leashes, collars, their crates, and tie out chains

What have I forgotten?

OH, almost forgot - their food bowls.........

Did you pack their copies of their vet records? Might want to make sure you know where the evets/reg. vets are in the area and how to get there, just in case. Also,it would be a good idea if each dog has ID on them. If you have a cell phone Id put that on them, not your home phone unless someone will be there if the need arises.
I know of an incident where a person was involved in a motor vehicle accicent and could barely give the officers any infrmation on her dogs. Her dogs had her phone number on the id tags but she never thought about the fact that since she was not home her home phone number would be no good for anyone to call since no one would be there. Maybe use the number of the place you are staying at and your cell number. Just a few suggestions. Better to be safe than sorry. Have a great trip!!!

the truck's all packed and we'll be on the road tomorrow first light.

getting away from the big city will be great!

Raw diet did not work........after 6 days of the squirts, I gave them their TOTW and they are happy again - I tried, but it just didn't work..........I will not try it again
