No need for nightmares, I have seen the dog myself , definitely a case of REALY BAD STACK.

Here's the dam of the dog the OP linked to:

I can't believe she went V 3 !! No wonder the pup looks so bad!

(and i thought MY female had faded pigment!!    )

by SitasMom on 11 June 2009 - 17:06

I thought that washed out colors was a falt?

It is, Sitasmom. It just goes to show you what poor stock the Serb dogs must be! (I'm sure this was a local show in Serbia. This bitch definitely wouldn't have placed that high in Germany!)

(Actually, I think the bitch I likned to is the grandmother of the pup that's for sale, and Teo Indigo Lake is the pup's sire. Hard to be sure, as the ad is in a foreign language that I'm not at all familiar with.)

Faded pigment is a fault, in any standard.  Maybe she was colored, or perhaps, she is so good in every other way that the judge gave on that one.  Either way, that American bred you posted, Sitasmom, is really something.  I like her color, but that rear end...either a very bad stack (I wouldn't have taken that pic, if it were my dog) or the dog's rear legs are just too long.  Either way, not my cup of tea.
