Krazy Bout K9s

Thought I would post this for info....When I lived in Minnesota, where there were lots of the above....I used to make a cotton rope collar, soak in the Pennyroyal oil and put around the dog's neck...works wonders and is natural...doesn't smell too bad either...get it at your health food store...
Darn, I don't have any of those problems now, living in Montana....hehehe

Just don't use it on cats.  Essential oils are not detoxed by cat's livers.

I live over here in Idaho, and the mosquitoes are horrendous this year.  I'll try the pennyroyal not only on my dogs, but me too!  Thanks for the suggestion, to all of you who suggested it.

Be careful - a very small amount of pennyroyal can cause convulsions in a human being - and, while it may be an effect flea killer/repellent -  it is also highly toxic .

Can cause liver damage as well; use with caution!  I grew some one year and just crushed some leaves between my hands and rubbed them down the dogs and on their ears; it did seem to help.
