i dont know about being too thin, but she is definately thinner than the pics at the top.i like a thin dog but she could stand to gain about 10 pounds if she were mine.

She's a malinios.  What do you expect?  most I see look like her.  if they are being worked on a regular basis, or being trialed.

the other pics look like she has more weight on her bones.

being mal, I wouldn't be concerned about her weight.  She obviously has great muscle tone and coat.  if she wasn't getting proper nutrition,  she would have poor muscle mass and a poor coat.

Maybe she could stand a couple of extra pounds, but not a whole lot.  I LOVE that athletic look!

I would like to see a few more pounds on this dogs frame during the winter if she is an outdoor dog. She is a mal, but look at the muscle tone, and health. The summer pictures were better. My Jami is 70 lbs and 25 inches to the shoulder, she still looks lean to me, I can't stuff anymore into her and she is very active. I do not like to force feed either. Now Sabin my GS he looks at food and gains weight even with all of his activity.

It's a mali thing the weight on mine goes up and down.  My girl looks great at the moment but my boy looks a bit like that. He is coating at the moment and has lost a bit of condition.  My GSd's also loose a bit of weight when coating but their coat covers a multitude of sins.  As Malship said earlier there is only so much food you can give them.

I agree with Uber Land.  A thin dog, in the unhealthy sense, would look bad in other ways (eyes, coat, no muscle....).  I've seen other Mals similar to this, ones that have a lot of energy and drive and are worked often.  Looks like she has great muscle tone.

Really.  I hardly see any muscle.  When you dont' eat enough calories the body eats up the muscle.  I'm sure she is in great physical condition, but too thin IMO.
