As acknowledgment of the extra effort it takes for a female team to compete at the national level, Sueincc, Animules and I are sponsoring the "XX" trophy at the nationals this year. This is NOT the typical trophy. Oh, no!! We are presenting the High Scoring Female Team (female handler and bitch) with a beautiful piece of engraved jewelry from Tiffany's ...and a special Schutzhund Barbie.

Is this a shameless plug to encourage more female teams to enter this year? You betcha!       We are spending a relative fortune on this, as trohies go, and we want to see some real competition for it!!

So, spread the word and encourage your friends and club members who are working bitches to get it in gear, qualify for the USA Nationals and be in Iowa in November to claim the prize. We guarantee you will never look at "Breakfast at Tiffany's" the same way again!!

I am seriously considering going to train my dogs with Steve Miller and his club in WI this summer, (maybe forever?), possibly could get Portia ready for such an event. We need work on the retrieve (munch-munch) but she's a hell of a nice bitch. No way we'd win, but just being in it would be fun!  With luck and hard work, Steve could maybe have her younger sister ready too, but he'd look funny in drag.

I miss training for serious competition. Attending the AWDF shindig last weekend got my blood circulating. Now for the bones and muscles... LOL

Misery loves company. Ha ha ha. What about you Ms Nia?
Isn't it time you came out of the closet and got back in the game?

After reading Shelley's posts about Phil at the AWDF I think that she should sponsor a "XXX" Trophy. (commence the saxophone music)

Shelley, I am of course joking. (I think)

Nia,

I am confused! What about the dog?

I know, I'm dead!

Maybe I need a good Maligator bitch to be more attractive? Portia isn't the best looking GSD in the world to begin with.
Anybody got a can of spray paint?
;-D

We won't be ready this year!   I am working with a 15 month old bitch from Hell.  Her  nickname in the club is "Hell Baby" and "Devil Child."   Hopefully, the event being on the West Coast (or at least where I can get a direct flight) "and the creek don't rise, "   we will be there to compete.    That is a big IF--the entire world knows by now that I HATE tracking!  Hate it!!  I'd rather clean toilets in a bus station than track regularly!!

Devil Child she may be but what fun to watch.

Next year, you and Devil Child, me and Boa.
