Hey everyone :)

As some of ya'll might know I'm working for Signature K9 right now, and I was wondering if I could run an idea by ya'll...see if it's something ya'll think is useful or not.

We're starting a rewards program for dog sports...starting with PSA that would benefit it's clubs and members.  We're working on pounding out the details, but might be seeing it going into place as early as next week.  Basically the idea of the program would be to offer the members of the national club a 10% discount on SignatureK9 equipment and merchandise.  On top of that, there would be a 2% cash back to the local clubs of members who purchase, as well as a 1% cash back to the National club (initially PSA) which would be paid out yearly.

Eventually we're kind of looking at expanding the program to involve other national sports and also clubs as well....but right now we're kind of looking at what kind of feedback a program like this might generate.

  Any thoughts on the idea?

Why PSA first?

Well that could be a good deal. Have you approached other dog sport organizations about this?

What you suggest is simple. It is called marketing. But marketing alone will get you nowhere Cate. And others have tried it before. What will get you somewhere is providing excellent and timely customer service, selling excellent equipment at a fair price and honoring warranties when equipment does not hold up. I don't care whether you give money or rebates  to anyone. I do care that you are honest and ethical in your business practices and that you sell high qualify equipment at a fair price.

Just my take on it.....
Good luck.

One of our sales guys has closer ties with PSA...and we wanted to kind of see how it went with a slightly smaller organization at first...but the general idea is to spread out and do it with some of the bigger organizations and sports. -Cate
