Anyone know details of some good French GSD breeders... or, how easy is it to take a youngster from the UK to France? They'd prefer a long coat.
It's for a friend who moved to France (Normandy) a few years back.

Hello,
If you are taking one out of the UK, just get the puppy his rabies at 12 weeks then away you go... thats all there is to it, just make sure he is up on is injections.
You will need all that info with you.
But once he is out side of the uk he cannot return back to the uk without a completed Passport

Thanks, Blake! No age restriction then?

Actually, the obvious would be de Marne La Valley, reknown for the vivid red in the blk & red dogs. Or, if WL, de Valsory, or Hurle le Vent.

Also, du Clos Schauenberg--show line, but they have multiple entires in the French Championship, so apparently breeding for working ability, too.

OK, great... thanks all, I'll google the info given and pass it on to my friends. They are NOT "computer people"... strictly outdoors, grow yer own, waste nuthin' types... great home for a dog!
