Tried a messageboard search on this topic, not a lot of info. Anyone use pet insurance? Any suggestions of a good company to use? Is it worth it? I've looked most at AKC and VPI. Previous posts on here didn't seem to think VPI was good though. thanks!!

a friend had VPI and was not thrilled with it. cant remember specific details-i think they have lots of exemptions. i dont have any personally

Their program is different, it does not offer routine care stuff like shots, but covers accidents, chronic and hereditary disease, the BIG stuff. The gold plan also offers a small amount of compensation if the dog has to be euthanised.
