Greetings all
Just looking for the process most breeders would use to register a litter.
Like when do you do it?
And why would a breeder not do it?
And Haters please control yourselves just doing some fact finding.
Thanks guys.
Enjoy we got a spring day here in NJ makin for some muddy pups!

I do the UKC registrations on mine the day after birth. Then the AKC I do at 2 weeks of age.

Some may wait to see how the litter is progressing to see if they want limited or full resignation, or if they want there kennel name on it. It comes down to quality and sorry to say money.First litter between any 2 dogs is a crap shoot and the longer you wait the better chance to evaluate the pups and breeding.

i register my litters at about 1 week of age. note that the litter registration does not require any selection of limited or full registration - this is selected when completing the individual registration form.
using the online tool, i usually have my litter registration hardcopies from AKC in about 7-10 days.

Thanks for the info....
According to the AKC the litter was never registered.
I sent a letter requesting that perhaps they could or would register the dog as both parents
are AKC registered.
However, No Go.
Ohh well chalk it up to life lessons and what not to do again!
Have a great day cant wait to get outta work and go for a hike.
