Just curious - what are you trying to  train her to do?

by furrycoat on 14 March 2009 - 11:03

I would like to show her

Sounds like you need to train her to pull upfront. Have your kids help you, when they are running and she goes after, give her a command with it. Something like: Go,go,go! or: Run! or similar.... She will soon get the gist of what that means and whats expected of her. Always sound excited when you want her to run.

Just remember that makes sure she gait and not run or gallop. also put some tensionon the leash while she gait.

Zaki,
Come on now.
How about another funny joke.

Furrycoat,

I don't train for show, my dog must remain at my side, not ahead and not behind.
Surely someone with these talents will come forward with some very good advice.

Moons.

Ya, I need help getting mine to stay at my side, she's always pulling in front,  funny.  It never works the way you want.
