I like 1 too. But I would pick both of them.

were these pics taken at the same time/age? Pic 1 looks like it was taken when the pup was slightly younger than the age of the pup in Pic 2 (based on pup 2 having less black and looking like he/she might be taller). Am I wrong? Also Pic 1 is "easier on the eyes" because pup is looking straight ahead and both ears are up. From the pics, pup 1 looks like a natural at stacking and seems to have something special that catches my eye. That said, pup 2 looks solid, but I'd still pic pup 1 based on just those pics.

that has to be the worse feeling of a breeder.  did i keep the right one?    one of the reasons we try to keep 2 or 3 out of each litter, at least for a little while.

same thing goes for when you buy a pup,,,, you never know what your going to get.

I always go for the darker for WGR show lines because you know they're gonna lighten up.

Thank you for the kind comments, they were taken two weeks apart no 2. was at 17 weeks and 1 at 15 weeks.
No. 1 now has her right ear down and left up, I just can't wait until they are both up She is my keeper but now she is 19 weeks old and going through the uglies so I was wondering if I have kept the right one. Only time will tell.

They are both beautiful- but still, good choice on pup 1! I bet she will be terrific in the future :)

Yes John,

In the future when I breed a litter I will always run on More than one puppy. The only reason that I breed a litter is to produce a puppy for myself to show and the next time I have a litter I will run on more than one puppy because you have to have another to compare it to.

Even saying that I do get a really good feeling when I see a puppy a few months on and I have to say, Wow that is a very nice puppy and see happy puppy owners. What better advertizment do we need??
