OK so we are around day 28 and princess Leah is being a total madam morning sickness kicked in last week and
her dry food isn't good enough for her anymore (Arden grange-prestige)                           http://www.ardengrange.com/Pet-Food/prestige-dog-food.asp
she will eat it soaked and mixed with  tray packs of natures harvest http://www.natures-harvest.org/

she is being offered 3 small meals per day of soaked prestige with natures harvest wet mixed in,
1 egg or cottage cheese alternate days and her salmon oil daily

is this OK or do I just wait until she starts eating dry again...

the reason i ask is my father said i am a soft touch and a friend said to give in to her ATM...

I would be interested to know what you guys do

Kind regards,
Tracie.

I've found giving aloe juice help restore appetite.

I always try not to pander to faddy eaters as you can often make a problem worse as they learn to manipulate you!

Sometimes pregnant bitches just refuse food, its normal. She won't starve herself... she is still early. Food doesn't really need to be increased so much till second half of pregnancy, when the babies require more energy. My guess is her food drive will come by itself. Just don't want to get them hooked permanently on canned stuff.
For kibble dogs, normally a bit of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top is good to get them started. Many dogs love parmesan. Have seen many boarding kennels use it to get nervous dogs to start eating.
I wouldn't worry too much if she misses a day
