Orbit vom Hühnegrab- comments on his progeny? - Page 1

I am interested in a grandpup of Orbit and am doing my "homework", so I would like to hear some feedback on his progeny.  Thanks!

he produced some big dogs.  but alot of the recent VA males have.
but look at the puppies parents too.

The parents are sound, well-balanced dogs and have the traits I am looking for, but sometimes traits will skip a generation or two, therefore I am looking at the grandparents and actually going back as far as I can to find out as much as I possible.  I read some negative posts on this board about Orbit from a few years back regarding his progeny and just wanted to see if there is any new information on him- hoping that the information is positive.  Yes, I know the mother has a lot to do with the traits of the pups, but you have to start somewhere. Just doing my homework  to the best of my ability !  I realize that no matter what I find out, theres no guarantee the pup will be exactly what I want, but at least I've done my best at researching the pedigree and am aware of the potential problems. Like most people I've had my share of bad luck with dogs and would like to do my utmost  to avoid making another mistake. Once I commit to a dog/pup I keep it no matter what and they are like my children, so I am just trying to be very cautious.

good going starrcharr.  I like to go as far back on a pedigree as possible to see what the dogs produced.  that way there are few surprises when I get my puppy or make a breeding.
whats the rest of the pedigree look like?

All West German showlines. Other names on the pedigree are that are more recent are Quantum von Arminius, Visum von Arminius, Jeck vom Noricum, Max della Loggia dei Mercanti , Gorbi vom Olympus.  Most of the females on the pedigree are related in some way to the males listed. I think every West German showline dog is related to every other WG SL dog somewhere along the line!  I've been checking every female on the pedigree as well, but there are never any comments about them. I m checking their other progeny for comments too. If nothing else, at least I can see the rating on their  hips/elbows as well as their titles if they are listed.
