4) Do well with him and his sister at the futurity in July..

5) starting to show them and hopfully make a best puppy in show! ( that would be very nice!)

6) Find the right stud for my next breeding..

7) Win the lotery LOL! and changing my truck!

I have a busy year planned,

My job is seven days a week, as I work with race horses, and was given one last year by one of our best owners.  Anyway, after 8 months vacation, I am now jogging him again, and hope to have him racing by July!  I'm very excited about this, as I'm going to do this without any drugs, just natural erbs, and much love and care, so wish me well!  here is is..I call him Teddy, because he is as sweet and friendly as a teddy bear, but his real name is Western Odessey.

I'd also like to continue my pups training at a schutzhund club as I think she has the makings of a great sport dog.

Yes, and eat better, ho hum

I was hoping for a new puppy, adding another dog seems to be a point of contention in the household. I'm working on it. I feel like I've learned so much in the 6 and a half years since I last got myself a puppy, there is so much I want to do different, so many new things I'm dying to try.

In the meantime, I want to wrap up my title goals for my 7 and 6 year old dogs. The 7 year old, I want to finally get her CDX done, her RX, maybe some AKC tracking as well.  My 6 year old, I really want a VCD1 this year. She's a UD RA now. She's just about ready for her novice agility titles, and as soon as the weather breaks we all go back to tracking. Most of my time will go to helping my daughter with her dog, who is ready for a CD and a BH now. We have to figure out how we're going to order and balance all the venues she wants to title her in.

For me, I really have to make a commitment to take better care of myself. I have been on a health and weight roller coaster for the last 10 years- enough is enough. My goal by the year is to look in the mirror and really see me. I'm so excitied spring is nearly here, what a long and godawful winter...soon as it begins to dry up, hasta la vista PDB! I will be a busy gal.

I'm afraid my goals are small ones:

*Get my dog OFA certification, hips and elbows.

*Run an AD

*Go observe some BH trials at anything local this summer

*Look for sheep to work for herding with training methods that we can live with.

*Start dialogue with some breeders I'm considering a next pup from

First and foremost.   Give birth, via C section to a healthy baby  girl in 4 days!  And survive the C section!

Get back to training once I've recovered.  As there's some doggie goals this year too....

For Lexie, at least a SchH1 in the fall, maybe the 2, if possible.......And trial in the HGH again in October.  Also finish up her AKC C course Advanced title in the fall.  And look into a breeding partner for next year sometime....

For Ike, he gets to enjoy retirement from Schutzhund.   For him just enter some AKC herding trials to see if we can pick up any herding Championship points.....And apply for the Performance Award of Merit through GSDCA.    pondering an FH.......

.................................Hope to see you on the trial field with Lexie right on schedule!!

Thanks!  Hope so!   I was actually gonna be really ambitious and try to trial at our club trial in May!   I just didn't get as far along with her dumbell as I would have liked.  :)  Had to abort mission due to my increasing size and couldn't give it 100%.   LOL  Darn 40 points for the dumbell!

I'm already looking forward to losing the baby weight.  This was an IVF pregnancy so had gained a bunch even before getting pregnant due to the lovely hormone injections.   Actual baby weight gain only about 20, so not too bad....she was about 7 pounds a week and and a half ago.....
