Now lets see who feels that the RSPCA are an organisation that should be damning breeders out of the sky.  The BBC production had very good support from them didnt they, and their little chinless wonder of a spokesman.  Pity he didnt really get his hands dirty and help these two little GSD`s - a cause much better than getting his fame and fortune in the way he did.... and the RSPCA for that matter.  Jwmima??   Comments please.   Mo - Mascani.

Have a look if you can bear it, and the RSPCA were INNEFFECTIVE

The R.S.P.C.A. has been run, strictly as a business for many years now... the animal welfare issue takes a back seat to finance... rather like our KC, actually.

We've all watched some of their programmes, I'm sure, especially in the early days.  That's when one had to accept that they know Jack about breeds of dogs; everything b & t was a GSD cross and everything with some Boxer or Staffie in... was a Pittbull, it would be amusing if it weren't so serious and so bloody tragic.

What about, Jan Eachus?  Went to court numerous times to condemn innocent dogs because of how they looked, NOT because of what they'd done... Jan Eachus represented the R.S.P.C.A.  Joe Public and Judges, obviously, think that the R.S.P.C.A. are all knowing, even when a Ch show judge has stood up in court... the Judge has taken Jan Eachus' word, because they THINK they're experts!

What is their role?  Really?  The Royal Society for the PREVENTION of Cruelty to Animals... why were they ever involved on the DDA, why have they been involved in Passionate Productions soap opera?  I often wonder if they pulled out of the DDA business because they realised the had no legal right to be there... what cruelty were they preventing?  Same as the PP soap opera... what cruelty is there re: Shepherds?

I'm on a rant now!

We don't have automatic access to TV coverage, but that's what's needed to highlight the plight of those poor dogs and the ineptutude and indirect cruelty of the R.S.P.C.A.

More and more people are becoming increasingly aware of how poor a service is being provided to animals that are clearly in need of help and are at risk. I think it's absolutely disgraceful that an organisation there to protect has so many instances where they are clearly not identifying the neglect going on and it's the poor animals who have to suffer meanwhile. It's just not right.
