Just had a thought!  What IF someone was to bring an existingVA dog over - without any priogeny - what would the judge have to do?

The rules for the Irish Sieger are different and HARDER than those for the German Sieger.  Under these the following dogs would NOT HAVE GONE VA  last year Godalis Tino, Furbo degli Achei,

Videx i think you are missing the point on this, these are the same people that bought Ken last years sieger and they bought a lot of his progency from germany also so that he would have a group at last years irish sieger show. So i am wondering that if indeed Ilbo has a group of dogs here already and has for some time and if they were aware of this rule from the start only a few weeks before the siegershow so that other people can not get a group ready so Gsd Idol if you actually think instead of stopping the VA 4 dog this is more than likely a rule to make certain nothing else can beat him and we all are aware of the other dogs in the country this is prob to make certain they are not beatin either. Its a stupid rule and Alyson R is right if Furbo or tino showed up would they not get VA indeed did Yerom even have a group this year? It is not needed in germany so why have they got it here? In my opinion its a set up and thats why it is there.
