From my studies I have gathered Ursus lines were known for throwing substance and nice heads, Dux lines were known for throwing nice fronts, finess, and longevity in the ring. Hill lines are known for throwing temperament. From what I have been reading Esko lines are known for good hip production but poor pigment. What lines are known for throwing good rear drive and angulations? Also what lines are known for good pigment. I've heard Quartz Templari is good for that, and he also is known for dogs with good drives for schutzhund. What are Rikkor line dogs like Kevin Murrtal and Mack Aducht known for? Lastly for the males, who is known for good earset and strong ears. I know Dux lines might not be the best on ears because they tend to be too large. This years sieger Pakros who is son of Bax Luisenstrasse what is that line known for? I know this is a lot I'm just trying to educate myself more on the bloodlines. What ever happened to Timo Berrekasten lines.

Timo was sold to Taiwan, I believe sometime after the 2001 Sieger show......... therefore his stud career, at least in Germany, would have been over in the 2001-2002 period. If you check his progeny list on this database, you can probably get an idea of what lines still exist outside of Asia. Margman Torsten is a son that comes to mind, you can find his pedigree here also.
Not being a breeder i'm afraid I can't comment on the other dogs you mentioned, except to say that Ursus was also responsible for transmitting soft ears......
