Please can anyone give me some information.
I have a GSD that was shipped over from West Germany last May.
He is an awesome dog. He is Pink Papered and has his BH.
When I bought him I received his papers from the seller.
This same seller then took the papers back along with a check for $100.00 saying he was going to get a baschinigan??? (I know the spelling is totally incorrect but that's what it sounded) like and have the papers transferred over to me.
Anyway, the individual I bought him from later got himself in major trouble and is now out of the dog business.
I have no idea what happened to my dogs papers or where they're at, most likely in a dumpster as someone came in and cleaned out the kennel.
All I have is a copy of his papers and my contract/bill of sale.
I've tried to look up the words on his papers but don't understand the website and can't find anyone to contact.
This is what the front of his papers read.
Verein Fur Deutsche Schaferhunde (SV) E.V.
Rasse-Echtheitszertifikat
Please can anyone give me some direction. I would like to get him AKC registered.

Contact Sabine at the SV to find out if you can get another copy of your dog's papers?

The smartest thing you did was to make the photo copies (hopefully all sides).

Yea, the Bescheinigung does not cost $100!
But, yes contact Savine at the SV, should be able to help...

I would like to say "Thank You" to the people that responded to my post for registration help.
I thought I did this yesterday but didn't see it come through on the list.
I did in fact write to the above mentioned Sabine Lieb explaining the situation and she has already replied requesting further information to get this straightened out.
