I know how all of you in the North are struggling with the snow and cold weather so I thought I would share some heat wave photos, They are too cute not to share.

too damn cute!! i've held a koala (just outside of brisbane) and they are so wooly and funny. fun pix! btw, i'm in socal and it's very warm here right now.

What an irresistable creature! It really is too cute! I have a pen pal in Heathmont, Victoria. Are you anywhere near there? I was told it's close to Sidney.
I'm not crazy about extremes in temperature but the heat and humidity anyone can have, no thank you! We have been lucky in the area I am presently in. We have missed any big ice storms and power outages. I can't complain too loudly.

The photos were taken in Victoria, I live 1 1/2 hours drive from Sydney and yes there have been some bad bush fires in Victoria and South Australia.

They are wonderful creatures.. I hope we always have them even if I'll probably never see one in the wild.

Nice to know they are there anyway.
