Update on my missing pup...

She has been missing since september.  Well, I did find her in the hands of a woman who has crates two high all over her house, porch and shed full of dogs some even with two dogs in them, all different breeds.  Lovely huh?  Lisa Gorczyca admitted she had her, that someone else was going to pay mefor her, and that she is not giving her back.  This dog is in my name with AKC, Bertille vom Noble.  Tattoo # NO8B2.  I can easily prove all of this however the police and animal control will not get involved and said I have to take her to small claims where I might get a monetary judgement but she cannot pay so what good is that?  I really just want her to return the dog.  Hands down, I will leave it at that.

Any other ideas?  I will take all I can get.

Get mean, get mad, get physical !!
The system only makes a mess out of everything.   Take no prisoners, show no mercy, leave no witness's.

Hire a hit man????? I know I would seriously think about it if it was my dog. I'm so sick of these scumbags using and abusing the systems of this country.

File charges for theft.

I got a dog back once in CA by going straight to the judge and asking for an "Emergency Writ of Possession." I took the papers with his tattoo number, told the court the dog was in danger of being hidden or sold or worse. Took about 20 min. He even sent two deputies and a locksmith to the house with me to physically remove the dog immediately. I had to let them take the dog to a boarding vet till a hearing 10 days later (my treat) but I did get my dog back safe and sound.
Surely there is a similar provision in your state.

If you can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that the dog is yours, go to your city attorney or district attorney and scream bloody murder that the police department is not doing their job. Whenever there is a problem with a law enforcement agency you should go to the next higher non-related  agency with your allegations. Bring all documents that bear out your case.

I would suggest microchipping all future dogs to help with this type of situation.

I suggest people quit letting pups/dogs go without full payment first. It's called CYA. Also if you want a dog neutered or spayed, do it yourself before the dog changes hands, that's the ONLY way you can insure it happens. Trust no one but yourslef to do the right thing.

GSDFlorida is right. We all know what runs down hill. Go to the top and let the s#!t flow where it may.
Always works for me. Its YOUR tax money. Spend some of it!
