Is he from show / working lines ?
Ive had him for nearly 7 years now , he has the strangest colour coat , could anyone tell me what coluour they think he is please ?

Black & tan...... but he is soaking wet.  Do you have any pictures of him "dry".  He looks nice, soggy but nice, I bet he just had a good swim, yeah...?

I'm sorry but I really can't tell much from the pix. He looks to me to be a black and brown with some ticking over his withers. Most likely working lines or a mix of work and show lines with those facial markings, possibly some East German in the mix.
Just a guess...

I shrungk the picture, hope this helps.  He is very pretty, nice head, wide muzzle.  Doesn't look American Showline at all.

Hi.
He looks a grand dog whatwever lines he is may i say one thing though and not meant in a bad way quite the opposite, 
his eyes are lacking the sparkle and clearness, maybe the photo but just noticed it

He did have at the time but its all cleared up nicely .

 Does not look like American lines to me.   Do you really care what lines he might be from?  He looks like a great companion!!
