I'm new here and this may be a dumb question, but can a purebred GSD (black and red) have a white patch on their chest? Just wondering if I got lied to, a few things about my GSD don't seem right, mainly the white patch because i've never seen that. Had some problems with the breeder, so just wondering if I got took. He was a little older and I saw both "parents" and one sibling. thanks

Hi Mystee
It is quite common to find white patches on the chest and toes of black and red dogs, it can crop up on all the colours, even otherwise solid blacks. It becomes less obtrusive as the dog matures and the coat gets thicker.
