what kind of crook?, like a slight curve, or a kink, like the tail was broke at a right angle?

I had a rescue litter about 8 years ago,  3 of the pups had major kinks in their tails.  it was like a right angle type kink.

The standard calls for a straight tail.  it may or may not affect the pup for show purposes.  depends on the other qualities the pup possess.  but I also know of judges who will not place a pup with a kink in a very high place at the show.  not if there are other puppies who are just as nice and don't have kinks.

I wouldn't have sold the pup as show quality, maybe breeding quality.  but sometimes those kinks are genetic.  I have an old 16 year old pomeranian who has a kink at the very end of her tail,  and when she was breeding,  she would pass it on to a few pups.  same thing with another dog a breeder friend I knew had.  she would always throw some pups with kinks in the tail

When you run your hand on her tail when you get to the end it likes just curves up a tad.You don't notice it the only way i noticed it when i was batheing her.I'll try and get pictures of her on here today .Oh and by the way I would like to thank you uberland for sending me info on your pups.

I've had a pup with a broken tail,  there were problems and it never got better.

No problem zigzag,  I'm always happy to show them off.  I'll post some new pictures of them today :)
the puppies I had,  the tails were very noticeable,  they were def.  like right angle breaks.         and the pomeranian is the same way,  If it isn't very noticeable,  then you will probably be ok in the show ring.
