our Ulko puppy - Page 1

I just had to share some pics of our 8 week old puppy, Jenna.  Her father is Karat's Ulko and her mother (whom we own) is Viernheimi Jessy (she is the pic on my avatar).  Jenna has been such a joy to our home, even though she is a BITING MANIAC!    I understand this is what we have to put up with if we would like to try Schutzhund later on!?  So far, she certainly seems to take after her daddy's side of the family!  These pictures were taken of her checking out snowflakes for the first time yesterday - she loved chasing them around & trying to eat them!  Thanks for allowing me to share.  It's been so cool to share the love for the breed on this website & I am learning SO MUCH from you all!!

ya gotta love those silly german shepherd puppy ears!!  on that photo on the top, she was getting ready to sit down when i took the pic, so it kinda looks like she is squatting a little.

Absolutely adorable!  I agree this is an awesome site to gather info...everyone is so helpful!  Enjoy your little bundle of joy...they don't stay little for long.

LPK - Yes!!!  we are soooo thankful we got to keep her!  this past week-end would have been when she would have gone to her new home.  she sure is ornery, but tons of fun too!  

Was this puppy purchased from Peter Banffy and if so please describe the experence as I am considering a dog from him

Vinegarjoe, is your Ulko pup still very mouthy??!  the only time it really bothers us is with our children.  it's hard to know when to scold her, but sometimes she will turn around while they are holding her or down petting her and Jenna is awfully close to their face, trying to nip/bite.  I know she is doing it out of excitement (she didn't have any littermates growing up too, so i am guessing we are getting alot of what they would've gotten when they play).  she has so much spunk & sass!   her pics don't really show how ornery she really is!
