Training Club AGM - Page 1

Do you guys in the USA and the UK or wherever you live have a AGM meeting at your dog clubs
Last night we had ours at the main club it went well a few things worked out, and of course the finances
The Club laid on free sandwiches and Cake, Free Beer . Coke or Coffee as much as you wanted
One Lads wife presented him with a baby girl and video for us to see, then he cracked open three bottes of Champers to toast the little one and his wife, and we gave him a huge bouquet of Flowers to give her
A good night out
Twenty two club members turned out to come to the AGM so not too bad

im not sure what a AGM is but we as a club have an annual meeting, as well as special meetings (pre trial stuff, or if a major issue arises).  USCA has an annual GBM (general board meeting) once a year before the nationals.

AGM i s short for annual general meeting
It is the closing of the old year meeting to opening the new one
We will have a little meeting in the club house this week to iron out who is doning what at our first club trial pf 2009  on Feb 15th
Then in October we are holding the Belgian Nationals at our Club
this will be a big affair
Next to our Club is the Rugby Club with closed in Stands, the club has said we can use the field and hold it on there if the weather forecasts rain, we will also get a Marquee etc besides our own club house where a hot dinner can be provided
Should go okay
 The Father of Heidi is being entered, and he is a really awesome dog, hopefully he will be on form at the right time, he is also entered in our club trial in Feb so will keep in with the work
