When is the good time for mating for a female. Now she is bleeding its her 4th day.

A normal bitch will bleed 10-12 days, and after the bleeding turns straw colored to none that is when she is receptive to the stud. Normal bitches will stand for breeding from day 12-18, but again that is for the normal cycle. There are many bitches who breed as early as the 6th day, or as late as the 19th days. We personally breed every other day as long as the bitch accepts the stud. That will cover her.

My bitch breeds on day 6, I missed 3 breedings going with 10-12 days, My advise is put her out by day 4 and watch, she will stand when ready .Then you will be able to fiqure out which day she is receptive, will make future breedings better.Learn from my mistake and beleave me I have made most of them.HA

Best time for mating?
Right after a light meal and a couple of glasses of wine, say around 9:30.
